St. Hilaire Vineyard & Winery
St. Hilaire is a small, family-owned boutique winery producing approximately 200 cases of wine each year. The vineyard is located just east of the 101 Highway in Templeton, CA. Year old grafts were planted in 1998 with a long-term vision of producing low-yielding vines and high quality fruit. Our estate grown wines represent the best of what the Central Coast wine industry has to offer. The climate and terrain play an integral part in the success of our wines. We enjoy long, warm days and cool nights.
Great care is given year round to the soil, plant growth and fruit development. The grapes are hand harvested in the cool early mornings to maintain full clusters and fruit flavors.
John Anderson is passionate and keenly focused on vineyard management year round. The endless hours John spends in the vineyard can be found in each and every bottle of wine produced. Pruning, shoot thinning, leaf pulling, plant care and quality control are primarily done by John. Crews are occasionally hired to keep us on schedule throughout the season but John works right beside them to ensure his practices are being followed.
It is with great pride that we offer these wines for others to enjoy. Our wines are made with food pairing in mind so enjoy them with a meal. They are just as amazing on their own so pour a glass anytime!
